The real pointless
Lately I have been listening to a lot of self help type podcasts.
Not actively listening, mind. Just letting the welter of homilies wash over as I struggle with project plans, wireframes and development schedules.
Hoping that, by some guru osmosis, the learnings, epithets and maxims will somehow guide my sub conscience to occasionally pop into forebrain with a fully rounded and excellent idea.
So far, I have “back to work”, “hate your life, hate hats” , “anomie domino” and paleo diet.
This is not a result my Prince 2 educated head is able to parse.
Perhaps I should go agile. But, I suspect the continued susurration of good advice would fall on equalised, stadium rock, ears too.
Somewhere it’s gone in though. Just lately I’ve been waking up in horror at 4am with the upright, quilt sundered and stark realisation that I haven’t put a task in the right context.
