I don’t remember when this happened
I was perhaps around four years old in 1969

My mum tells me, that back in those black and white days

got put out in a pram in every weather except fog
On the street still hundred year cobbled
Looking at a sky just 20 years longer
Had the fucking Luftwaffe stopped on their way to bomb the fuck out of coventry
